00:00 – JMV opens the show by previewing tonight’s matchup between the Pacers and the 76ers, how it’s a good test for this young team to see if it’s for real or not, and how this years team is so much fun compared to both recent years, as well as this years Colts squad. He also gives an update on the Damar Hamlin situation.  

 

24:33 – Bob Kravitz of The Athletic calls into the program to talk about the Colts, and what the fate of GM Chris Ballard will be. They talk about who the next head coach will be, and if Jeff Saturday has an actual shot at securing the full-time gig. They also broach the topic of Jim Harbaugh and if there is any chance the Colts can lure him away from Michigan. Bob and John then talk Pacers, and if they’re no longer interested in trading away Myles Turner.  

 

44:03 – Dane Fife from the Big 10 Network calls in to kick off the 2nd hour, as him and John dive into college basketball. They talk about how expectations can be tough when you’re ranked #1 overall early in the season, how teams can overcome that, and how it can almost be better to not be ranked at the top of the pack at this point in the year. They also go into how social media can negatively impact athletes these days, especially young college age athletes.  

 

1:18:06 – John continues the show by talking to some listeners inside the Youtube lounge about the Pacers. He then opens up the phone lines to talk directly to the listeners about a variety of subjects, including the Colts and their direction under Jim Irsay, and who will be the GM and head coach next year.  

 

1:26:48 – John takes a couple of calls from listeners, and then Kevin Bowen from Kevin & Query joins the program, where at first John and him talk about Colts safety Rodney Thomas, who is extremely close with Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suffered cardiac arrest during the Monday Night game between the Bills and the Bengals. They then talk about the future of GM Chris Ballard, and if maybe he isn’t as safe as Jim Irsay has indicated. They then preview the Pacers matchup against the 76ers, and how much of a test it will be with Joel Embiid out with an injury.  

 

2:00:00 – John continues the show by taking some more calls from several listeners! 

 

2:09:07 – John closes out the show by taking a few more calls, as well as giving one last preview of the Pacers – 76ers matchup.
