The move comes as a bit of surprise, as Chase McLaughlin performed admirably as the Colts kicker last year, and the Colts seemingly have more pressing needs than at that position.  

26:12 – 46:58 – Greg Rakestraw, who hosts the Colts postgame show and also broadcasts for the ISC Sports Network, joins the show! Greg and John discuss the Colts signing of Matt Gay, how the fans might react to the Colts signing a kicker when they have some more pressing needs, and if ultimately the move makes sense. They also take a look at the NCAA Tournament and preview all of the action we will see here soon.

49:57 – 1:15:25 – John speaks to Purdue Head Coach Matt Painter! John and Coach Painter discuss Purdue’s victory in the Big Ten Tournament! They also take a look ahead to the NCAA Tournament, specifically at Purdue’s potential path to the finals. They also get into the rest of the teams around the country, and how no one team is really standing above the rest.  

1:15:26 – 1:27:53 – John goes back to the Colts, and the news that they’ve signed kicker Matt Gay to the most expensive FA contract for kickers in NFL history. He also brings up the many other issues the Colts are facing this offseason.  

1:27:54 – 1:32:31 - John closes the 2nd hour by looking at the Colts WR room, and if we could see them bring in some veteran help on that front. 

1:32:32 – 2:02:01 – Dusty May, head coach of the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team, joins the show to discuss his teams run to the NCAA Tournament! He talks about how his team has stuck together through all of the success they’ve had this year. They also look towards the tournament, and Florida Atlantic’s upcoming game against Memphis on Friday, as well as how the program will benefit from the exposure making the tournament will bring.  

2:02:02 – 2:11:12 – John breaks down the news that the Colts are trading CB Stephon Gilmore to the Dallas Cowboys for a late 5th round pick. The move will free up almost $10 million in cap space for the Colts.  

2:11:13 – 2:17:57 – John closes out another edition of the show!
