He talks about how UConn simply overwhelmed the Boilermakers with their talent, and how Zach Edey alone wasn’t nearly enough to overcome the Huskies. He also talks about the mass exodus from his Indiana State Sycamores.  

25:12 – 43:17 – Chris Hagan of FOX59 calls in from Phoenix, where the Boilermakers fell short against UConn. John and Chris discuss the game, and if there was anything Purdue could have done differently against the Huskies. They talk about what the Boilermakers will do this offseason to replace all of the pieces they will lose, including Zach Edey, as well as JMV’s Indiana State Sycamores.  

43:18 – 1:07:31 – JMV kicks off the 2nd hour by continuing the NCAA Championship discussion. He also talks about the state of college basketball, and his Sycamores, who are dealing with a mass exodus from the team.  John also opens the phone lines up and takes some calls! He also reads some comments from listeners online!  

1:07:32 – 1:26:23 – Greg Rakestraw of the ISC Sports Network joins the show! Greg and John discuss the NCAA Tournament Championship! They talk about where Purdue goes from here, and how sustainable the success they had this year is with all the pieces they are going to lose. They also talk about the Sycamores, who are also dealing with several key pieces leaving in the transfer portal.   

1:26:24 – 1:57:37 – Gregg Doyel of the Indianapolis Star joins the show from the Kansas City airport, where he is on a layover on his way back from the NCAA Championship Game! They also talk Indiana State and the mass exodus of players following the departure of Coach Josh Schertz. Gregg and John talk about what the Boilers will look like next season following the departure of Zach Edey and others.  

1:57:38 – 2:07:22 – JMV keeps things rolling by talking about Indiana State, college basketball and the effect of NIL. He also takes some phone calls!
