He also continues the conversation that began yesterday on Colts special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone, and the likelihood that he leaves the franchise to take the same position with the Cleveland Browns. He also talks about the news that the Tennessee Titans are releasing longtime left tackle Taylor Lewan, and if the Colts might have interest in him. 

27:02 – 42:44 – Brooks Barnhizer, who is a sophomore on the Northwestern men’s basketball team, joins the show to talk his team’s surprising run of success. He talks about the thrill of beating Ohio State and Purdue, and what has led to the Wildcats going on a winning streak. He also previews tomorrows matchup against Illinois. 

42:45 – 47:01– John closes the first hour by going over some of the more notable releases we have seen in the NFL over the last several hours, with many of them involving the Titans.  

47:02 – 1:09:41 – Matt Painter, head coach of the Purdue Boilermakers, joins the show to preview the black and golds big game that is coming up against Indiana. John and Matt discuss Purdue getting a win over Ohio State this past Sunday, and what the team needs to do to be able to defeat Indiana this weekend.  

1:09:42 – 1:24:02 – John takes a look at the several of the NFL releases that we’ve seen over the course of the day, including the Titans cutting several players like Taylor Lewan. He also discusses the Pacers and Colts, and how it would be nice to not have to talk about draft capital in relation to both teams. He also answers some questions from listeners online.  

1:24:03 – 1:28:54 – John closes the 2nd hour by answering some more questions from listeners! 

1:28:55 – 1:52:20 – Bedford North Lawrence girls basketball coach Jeff Allen joins to talk about his team making it to the championship game, as the team prepares to take on Fishers on Saturday. Coach Allen talks about the season experience, and what has led to his team making it as far as they have.  

1:52:21 – 2:07:01 – John dives back into the news that the Titans have made a plethora of cuts in order to get under the cap, the headliner of those cuts being longtime left tackle Taylor Lewan. He also discusses if we will see more of these major reshaping moves and who we will see them with, whether it’s the Titans again or if the Colts begin to make moves as well.
