He talks about 49ers players saying they didn’t know the postseason overtime rules, and the impact Chris Jones had on the Chiefs defense. He also talks about Purdue’s dominating win over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.  

26:45 – 41:15 – JMV talks about his Indiana State Sycamores, who are ranked for the first time since 1979. He then opens the phone lines up and takes some calls from listeners of the show!  

41:16 – 43:45 – JMV wraps up the first hour of the show! 

43:46 – 1:10:08 – Pacers GM Chad Buchanan joins the show! Chad and John talk about the decision to trade away Buddy Hield, and the impact that may have had on the Pacers in their loss to the Warriors. Chad and JMV also talk about if it was difficult to trade Hield to a fellow Eastern Conference team in the 76ers. They also talk about reacquiring Doug McDermott, and how he will fit in with the team that has seen a lot of change since he last put on a Pacers uniform. They also talk about some of what has gone into handling Tyrese Haliburton’s minutes as he was working back from a hamstring, as well as resigning Pascal Siakam.  

1:10:09 – 1:25:23 – JMV keeps things rolling by talking college hoops, including Butler, IU, Purdue and more. He also takes some questions and comments from listeners online! He also takes some calls as well!  

1:25:24 – 1:28:26 – JMV wraps up the 2nd hour of the show! 

1:28:27 – 1:57:40 – Stephen Holder of ESPN joins the show to wrap up the NFL Season! Stephen gives his thoughts on how the Chiefs beat the 49ers, including how disruptive Chiefs DT Chris Jones was in the game. They talk about the incident on the sidelines involving Chiefs coach Andy Reid and tight end Travis Kelce, as well as CBS color commentator and former Cowboys QB Tony Romo, who has drawn some criticism lately for his performance in the booth. They then preview the Colts offseason.  

1:57:41 – 2:05:46 – JMV talks about IU basketball, and how completely out of sorts the entire program seems right now. 

2:05:47 – 2:09:44 – JMV closes out the third hour of the show with one more phone call!
