00:00 – 30:03 – JMV kicks off the first show of the new year by talking about the Colts big win over the Raiders on Sunday! He also touches on the Pacers beating the Bucks as well! He talks about Colts QB Gardner Minshew, and if he will return to the team next season or go somewhere else to try and earn a starting gig. He also gets into the performance of the Pacers bench against the Bucks. 

30:04 – 48:03 – Greg Rakestraw, host of the Colts postgame show, joins JMV for the first time in the new year to talk about the huge Colts win! They preview the upcoming Colts-Texans game, which will decide if Houston or Indy make it in the playoffs. Greg talks about what the Colts need to do to beat the Texans, and how so much of that rests on them playing clean football.  

48:04 – 1:13:38 – Brad Spielberger of PFF joins the show to crunch some numbers with John! He kicks things off by discussing how PFF views Michael Penix and his future in the NFL. They then talk the Colts, and how surprising it is that the Colts are in the position that they are. They also talk about the Jaguars, who are suddenly in danger of not winning the division should they get upset by the Titans this weekend.  

1:13:39 – 1:29:31 – JMV talks about how this upcoming weekend will be a huge one for downtown Indianapolis, with both the Colts and Pacers having big games. JMV opens the phone lines and takes some calls from Colts fans!  

1:29:32 – 1:36:35 – JMV closes out the 2nd hour of the show by reading some comments from listeners on X! 

1:36:36 – 2:07:42 – Bob Kravitz of bobkravitz.com joins the show to talk about the Colts season, their big game against the Texans, and the win over the Raiders! Bob gives his opinion that win or lose on Saturday, the Colts can consider their season a success! They talk about all the issues the Colts have overcome, including several off the field incidents. Bob and John dive into the Colts first meeting with the Texans at the beginning of the season, and how different both teams are now. They also talk about the Pacers, and their win over the Bucks. 

2:07:43 – 2:19:59 – JMV talks about having success with the local teams! He also gets into Indiana State and their loss to Michigan State. He then opens the phone lines back up and takes some more calls! 

2:20:00 – 2:23:54 – JMV wraps up the first show of 2024!
