The Ride with JMV

Full Show: Would A Trade For Deebo Samuel Be Unlike Colts General Manager Chris Ballard?

Listen Later

(00:00-28:47) – The Ride With JMV opens up on a Thursday with JMV by highlighting the major injuries that have happened in the first round of the NBA playoffs, reiterates how he doesn’t think the Colts will acquire Deebo Samuel, and weighs in on what Mike Tyson did on a plane to another passenger.
(28:47-43:15) – Facility Director of Mojo Up Sports Complex in Eric Shelhamer joins The Ride With JMV to promote some of the changes that have been made since they renamed the fieldhouse along with what event they have going on this weekend.
(43:15-46:00) – Hour number one concludes with JMV answering some tweets and emails from listeners suggesting they will be taking their child to a camp at Mojo Up Sports Complex.
(46:00-1:17:14) – Colts Insider for the IndyStar in Joel A. Erickson joins The Ride With JMV for the first time to weigh in on why Deebo to Indy is such a pipe dream, is there a longer term success with the Colts to sign Quenton Nelson to a long term deal and continue to draft WR’s, and whether or not WR will line up with best player available when the Colts select at 42.
(1:17:14-1:25:14) – Right at the top of the show, Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren announced that he is entering his name in the NBA Draft and JMV doesn’t want the Pacers to draft Holmgren because he doesn’t see why someone would select him first overall.
(1:25:14-1:29:00) – JMV closes out the second hour of the show by remembering the last time the Pacers were in Toronto and lost in game seven in connection to Drake celebrating with the 76ers last night.
(1:29:00-2:00:59) – CBS4/FOX59’s Mike Chappell makes his weekly stop on The Ride With JMV to second JMV’s thought that acquiring Deebo Samuel would not follow the Chris Ballard approach, how it’s head scratching that the Colts would be willing to pay a guard $20M+ but not a wide receiver, and if the Colts defensive line should be one of the best in the league.
(2:00:59-2:08:38) – As we near the conclusion of today’s show, JMV gives away a pair of tickets for a lucky listener to see Kings of Chaos at Carb Day!
(2:08:38-2:10:39) – JMV closes out today’s show by sharing a little radio history and previewing tomorrow’s show.
