Lohan has been on a roll since her recent return as an actress, and this is not only her best work in recent years, but also her best performance since her return. She embodies Avery perfectly, creating a character that audiences can easily empathize with while also showcasing impressive comedic talent. Meanwhile, Harding is just as good as Logan, demonstrating great comedic timing, especially as she finds herself in increasingly comically uncomfortable situations. Not every stage play can interpret and convey the content on screen. The risk is enormous. It worked in this instance. The performers' performance of August Wilson's work, as well as the camera angles, film texture, and color schemes used for each scene. Despite switching media, The Piano Lesson adapts another August Wilson drama for the big screen with little changes. Because it doesn't make an effort to fully adapt its original material, this family drama about generational pain with a dash of gothic horror feels more like a filmed version of the play than a cinematic adaptation. It consistently stays an interesting and fulfilling experience because of a talented cast and a few moments of artistic flair.

The Merry Gentlemen is definitely a great entertainment film for the holiday season, especially for those who enjoy Christmas romantic comedies. It's nothing special, but the great charm of Britt Robertson and Chad Michael Murray makes this movie much more watchable than it has any right to be. Between the release of Hot Frosty this week and last week, Netflix's 2024 Christmas movies are off to a surprisingly strong start, and once this season is complete, it could be one of the best years yet. Wicked goes against the grain. Among other things, this movie combines incredible actions, voices, and performances. It is an amazing adaption that recognizes the distinction between a musical theater and a movie while preserving all of the important elements. Cynthia is so powerful that it makes one's spine tingle, and Ariana revealed a whole new side of herself that I think we should see more of! Jon M. Chu was able to effectively convey his vision through the cinematography, which is a masterpiece. I was blown away by the set, especially Shiz University and the train.

WICKED is a story of friendship.
