I just got out of the theater where I saw this movie in Hamilton, New York. Every young person starting their adult lives should, in my opinion, see this movie. By describing their journey together, the Reeve family is able to help others understand the greater meaning of life. Early awareness of life's frailty is a harsh reality, but it is also liberating. It enables you to realize that we are all only here for a short period and that we should make the most of it. I felt it was crucial that Christopher Reeve ultimately acknowledged that the time spent interacting with the people in life is more significant than all of the physical activity.

By extending the mythology and going further into the psychological suffering endured by individuals who are affected by the evil grin, the movie skillfully builds upon the groundwork established by the first one. The emotional impact is significant, the tension is tangible, and the scares are more severe. Outstanding performances are given by the entire cast, but the lead actress's performance stands out in particular. Her portrayal of her spiral into insanity is tragic and terrifying, and it serves as the emotional center of the movie.

The cast and crew did a great job putting this movie together and I'm grateful for it as it was such a fun journey full of twists, turns and laughs. The original cast is back which makes the adventure even more epic. They also paid homage to the first movie by choosing some little Easter eggs which were super fun. Some touching moments were fun to watch. I can only warmly recommend this movie. It was amazing. Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this movie and for a wonderful family evening that took us back in time.

For those who have read the books, the anticipation for a film adaptation has been quite lengthy. However, the wait has proven to be worthwhile!
