Do you ever feel emotionally stuck and that your life is spiraling out of control? There are times in life when our emotions get the best of us and we don’t know what to do or where to turn. Three common emotions that get the best of us are worry, anger, and grief. These three emotions are similar and yet different but they can all trip up our lives and cause devastation in our emotional health and relationships with family and friends. They can cloud the light of Christ and create barriers to experiencing the joy of living. There are times when these emotions can even lead to hopelessness and depression.
A new sermon series begins on February 5 titled, “Stuck?” We will explore these three common emotional traps and hear possible strategies for escaping their clutch. We’ll also be reminded of the sustaining hope in Jesus Christ.
