This episode starts like any other with Matt explaining internet references and lots of non one piece shenanigans. Matt explains to Mike who the Costco guys are but MORE importantly he talks at length about the newest season of Beastars. Matt thought King Neptune got his name from SpongeBob and Mike has to explain to him about ancient history. And the boys get hyped about Jimby continuing to prove he may just be the best straw hat!

Episodes discussed: One Piece Fan Letter!

The timing seemed perfect almost like it was…. fate?! With the relevant rereleases happening simultaneously with Matt & Mike’s first watches and a new One Piece short out, the bois took the time to watch the new One Piece Fan Letter short before they hop into Fishman Island! Mike and Matt spend some time recapping and dissecting the new short and just ogle over the animation style! Franky also pops in for the first part of the episode in a completely normal and not long winded way!

They did it MotherFunners! Mike and Matt have officially reached the halfway point of watching One Piece for the first time, right? RIGHT?! Happy episode 100 and the end of PreTimeskip! The bois have a lot of feelings and a lot of thoughts! Matt makes the episode a bit of a race, Mike realizes he likes a member of Blackbeard’s crew?, and the bois thirst about cereal mascots for the last 20 minutes or so of the episode, typical FunPiece. Thanks for coming aboard for this crazy ride MotherFunners, we couldn’t do it without you!
