Ladies and gentlemen - DOUG KEY joins the boys for a proper episode after our Fast and Furious Fiasco earlier this week! The Rogue Island Comedy Fest (of which Doug is the founder) is coming up this weekend in RI (Thurs, 5/25/23 - Mon, 5/29/23) and Doug has a LOT to say.

Doug is one of Chuck's Portuguese brothers and the bond is palpable. We talk: digital blackface, Brad's "Suburban Dictionary," and Ray crossing the line onstage. Did a woman stand up and rightly put him in his place? Or was he doing an innocent bit and a maniac took over his show? You be the judge!

To celebrate the release of Fast X, the boys bring Doug Key on to play through the Fast and Furious boardgame, Highway Heist.

This week on FUNBEARABLE: our faithful Captain Ray provides the boys with POTENTIAL headlines, so we can record our reactions NOW to make sure we're on top of the 24-hour news cycle.

Then Chuck and Brad talk Contropolis in PA. The two evil twins, as well as Gitem Steve Dave, Jen Kaminski, and Jimmy the Hair Guy trek down to the City of Brotherly Love (or closeby) to moderate some panels for the cast of MASH, Sailor Moon and the Mandalorian. They ship back up to Boston to see Frank Turner and the Interrupters (and spend nearly 20 hours in car together). The trip reveals a new obsessive trait that confused Ray, Brad - and probably you, our loyal listener.

As we tend to do - we present one of our classic live comic con panels and then follow it up with an entire traditional Funbearable episode!

The talented, hilarious and beautiful Tara Strong joins Brad "two-outta-three-ain't-bad" Rohrer live onstage at Rhode Island Comic Con! Tara Strong is known for doing voices for Loki's Miss Minutes, Harley Quinn in tons of Batman projects including Batman Beyond and the Arkham City games, as well as Fairly Odd Parents, Garbage Pail Kids, Family Guy, the Clerks animated series, Ben 10, Extreme Ghostbusters, The Powerpuff Girls, and roughly one thousand other projects!

After the panel, we get into Chuck and Brad's experiences visiting a furry convention at a local bowling alley, and Ray accuses the two friends of being "Disney weirdos." Classic Funboys!

The Funbear Jamboree is back in the studio and we've got a SUPER-SIZED episode, telling our tale of heading to New Jersey + New York to do our live Clerks: Bradley Drawn show along with a few podcasts with our favorite cubs!
