One day, Laura received a message from Crystal that said, “I was just listening to your podcast and I realized something: What I’m experiencing with my divorce is grief.” Ambiguous grief is just as real as any other grief, but it can be difficult to pinpoint. During a break in recording, Laura & Eli discover they were connected by a mutual person. While investigating this connection, we get to chatting about other things and it led to this unplanned conversation. Her friendship helped Casey through some of her darkest days while she was in the depths of her postpartum depression and has continued to help her through the trials of motherhood. Misty discusses how the loss of her mother and a friend close to her age encouraged her to make changes in her life so she was sure to live this one life to the fullest.
