Jacki interviews Rob Gordon, a researcher with more than thirty years’ experience protecting endangered species in the Department of Interior and on Capitol Hill, including assisting in the drafting of the Threatened and Endangered Species Recovery Act. Mr. Gordon dishes truth about the Endangered Species Act: Less than 2% of the listed species have been successfully recovered, and many “recovered” species were never endangered – but merely miscounted (Why would officials count the *nocturnal* Monito Gecko lizard population during the day? A daytime survey revealed only 18 left on the planet,… but a nighttime survey found 7,661). Species appear miraculously “recovered,” covering up errors. It is difficult to not notice the anti-development goals of the activists who work this list.
