This Week: Linda Danvers (daughter of policeman Fred Danvers and his wife Sylvia) began her life in a less-than-heroic fashion. Lured into a world of darkness by her boyfriend Buzz, Linda was involved in many illicit and illegal activities (such as murder & torture). Little did she know that she was intended to be a sacrifice for a demonic cult for which Buzz worked. Buzz slashed her with a dagger to use her blood to release a demon into the world, but Matrix, the protoplasmic Supergirl, intervened. She used her shape-shifting powers to try plugging the gaping wounds on Linda, but instead became fused with Linda. Linda and Matrix became a new Supergirl. Armed with newfound superhuman abilities and the power to change from Linda Danvers into the taller Supergirl, Linda began to fight crime and demonic activity, on her road to redemption for all the crimes she's committed.

This Week: The Uncanny X-Men. Magneto, master of magnetism. The bitterest of enemies for years. But now they must join forces against a new adversary who threatens them all and the entire world besides in the name of God. In God Loves, Man Kills.

Next Week: WHO IS LINDA DANVERS?

To her parents, Linda is a former good girl who now dabbles on the wrong side of the law. To her friends, she’s a struggling artist and the ultimate Supergirl fan. To her boyfriend, Buzz, she’s an eager accomplice as they try to harness dark forces more powerful than either of them can control. And after Buzz tries to use her to summon a demon, Linda Danvers is...dead?

To save Linda’s life, Matrix, a protoplasmic version of Supergirl, uses her powers to fuse the two of them together. Now, sharing memories, sharing superpowers, the entity formerly known as Linda Danvers is something else entirely. Is Linda still a human with the same damaged soul? Or has Supergirl done the unthinkable and stolen a new life for herself?

There are no easy answers, but Linda knows she must use her new powers to atone for her past sins. Because whatever else she may be, for now, she’s...

SUPERGIRL!

This Week:  Another fan chose book for March Madness, Superman Secret Identity: In this critically acclaimed work from writer Kurt Busiek (ASTRO CITY) and artist Stuart Immonen (Ultimate X-Men), an alternate “Clark Kent” encounters complications the real Superman never had to handle: a career, a wife, children—a real life.

Despite his iconic name, Clark Kent from Picketsville, Kansas, is just a normal kid whose parents thought they were being clever. He can’t fly, or see through walls, or shrug off speeding bullets—that is, until the day he can. And it’s all much harder than it looks in the comics.

Follow Clark across the decades as this man with powers tries to prove he can make the world a safer place without sacrificing everything.

This Week:  As part of our March Madness, this weeks fan chosen book is Tag and Bink Were Here: Officers Tag Greenley and Bink Otauna were minding their own business aboard a familiar, princess-harboring freighter when they suddenly found themselves under siege. Now under attack by the Empire, they will choose life over a noble death and "borrow" the armor off a pair of deceased stormtroopers. Their new disguises might get them off the freighter alive, but they'll also lead Tag and Bink on an adventure neither could have predicted! Chock-full of appearances by everyone's favorite Star Wars characters, Tag & Bink cleverly weaves the pair's misadventures into the movies themselves. No setting is safe as they traverse the galaxy from the Death Star to the Sarlacc pit to Cloud City to Endor!
