Our dog days of summer continue with Grumble.  A story of a con-man in a pug's body.  Ya know, the same old story.  

Take one part Conan the Barbarian, one part Monty Python, shake the shit out of it, and serve on the back of a giant Pug, and you have Battle Pug.

Dog Days of summer continue with Science  Dog.  A character  Laina's dad described as a cross between a Scotty dog, and Cable from the X-Men. I can't say that he's wrong.  

It's the dog days of summer, so we're reading dog-centric comics. We may have regretted letting Todd pick the first book.  Thanks a lot, TODD!

Summer loving happened so fast. We finish our month of romance comics with the manga Blue Flag. 

This week we are reading a cute story about a high school crush.  We reveal way too much about our high school days.  Adam brags about being popular in school. We get it, Adam, you have FRIENDS!

So this one is gonna fail the Bechdel test. Strangers In Paradise is a very 90's book about a girl with relationship troubles and her best friend who has a crush on her.  

We start our "Summer Loving" month off with a little controversy.  This week's book is problematic in so many ways, but that also leads to some fun conversations. 

Fresh off the press!  We are finishing off our Pride Month with the 2021 DC comics Pride Anthology.  

We're a bit split on this week's book. We do agree on the HBOMax Harley Quinn is worth a watch.
