Pinocchio is one angry little puppet.  His father has been killed, then turned into a vampire, and he’s lost everything…except the lies that turn his nose into a vampire killing stake!  This week, we talk to the creators of Pinocchio Vampire Slayer and its upcoming sequel, The Great Puppet Theater.

Dusty Higgins is the creator and artist behind Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer. He is an award winning illustrator and graphic artist at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Van Jensen, the writer behind the graphic novels, segued from comic journalism to write the exploits of our favorite vampire killing puppet!

BONE is back!

For the first time since completing in 2004, brand new tales set in Jeff Smith’s Bone universe are being revealed, with the recent release of Bone: Tall Tales, and the upcoming Quest for the Spark trilogy, both under the skillful pen of novelist and comic writer Tom Sniegoski!

Sniegoski also wrote a four-book series called The Fallen, which were loosely adapted for an ABC Family Channel mini-series in 2006-2007.  Not only that, he writes the popular Remy Chandler series, including books like Dancing on the Head of a Pin and Where Angels Fear to Tread.

Getting super powers just in time to find out you only have one month to live?

What mad genius could spawn such tales? Well, as it turns out … that man is Rob Williams!

This week, we speak to Rob about ONE MONTH TO LIVE, which tells the tale of Dennis Sykes, an ordinary guy in New York who suffers an accident that gives him superpowers. The catch is that the accident also leaves him with one month to live. And continuing our SHADOWLAND coverage, we speak about the recently released GHOST RIDER: SHADOWLAND featuring art by Clayton Crain, and how it fits into both the larger Ghost Rider and Shadowland stories!

A brilliant scientist – his best friend – the woman he loves – and her fiery-tempered  kid brother!  Together, they braved the unknown terrors of the inter-webs, and were changed by sarcastic rays into something more than merely human!  Aron!  Paul!  Bitch Wayne!  Rim! Our first interview with Ron was a blast, and now that Artifacts #1 has hit shelves (with issue 2 due in a coupla weeks), we figured it was time to touchbase with what’s coming up in the big crossover, as well as where the stories are going in his other titles.  Not only that, we touch on fat, sweaty fanboys and sweet, sweet lesbian lovin’.  Oh and sex with household appliances.  And we cuss a lot…probably because we were all drunk.
