Doing the right thing is often hard, and therefore, it's easier to do the wrong thing, even if such an action goes against our best interest. We also talked about stupid news, because it's 2021 and the world is filled with stupid news.

In this episode we talked about the prosecutorial insanity that is the Rittenhouse trial. We also had fun talking about The Balloon Worldcup, Fluid Bonding, and toxic masculinity contributing to global warming.

t is good that our culture is always changing, but should everything change just because? This episodes explores the topic of wives taking their husbands' last name. Should wives do so? Should husbands take their wives' last name instead? While taking (or not taking) a last name may seem trivial to some, it speaks to the heart of our society and culture.

This week I flew solo and I talked about teaching people to be resilient. We cannot modify the world to be "safe" for all people in all situations. It is better to teach people how to adapt to the world around them so they can be strong to face the world as it comes at them. I looked at a story from The Oberlin Review and the aftereffects of "Squid Game" and what people need to learn from these instances.

In this episode we talked about crazy news articles. It always amazes us how insane the real world can be. We are thankful for that insanity because its always worth a good laugh. We need to laugh more as a society. We also talked about thinking fallacies. It is very easy for us to get stuck in thinking traps that allow us, and often guide us, to make illogical conclusions about topics. We talked about some of these traps in the hope that it makes people better thinkers.

Last week I was in Seattle, a town I used to love. The town is now a disaster, and has really fallen into chaos since the last time I was there in 2019. In this episode we talked about Seattle and it's covid infatuation.

We also talked about minimalism. A lot of people have asked me about minimalism so here we are. However, the conversation is made very interesting given Jason is a hoarder.

Ideological bumper stickers enrage Jason. This week we dive into such bumper stickers and deconstruct their meaning and intent. Of course, this isn't the only thing we talked about. We also talked about the recent Biden Mandate for vaccines and what the likely outcome of such a mandate might be for the Biden administration.
