A new exhibition, “Lights in the Ghetto,” is currently being held at Bar Ghetto in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.

We spoke with the artist, Rana Saito, about this latest exhibition and the works on display.

He turned down a job offer from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, broke up with his girlfriend, and moved to Tokyo, relying on an apartment he found through Minimini.

He aimed to succeed as an actor, but the path was far from easy.
