As a solo bootstrapped founder you already have so much risk involved in starting a business that you shouldn't take on technology risk. This applies especially to developer founders who are prone to shiny object syndrome and want to apply the newest cool technology to their new venture. My advice: don't. Stick to first principles and technology that you consider boring because you know your way around it in your sleep.
