Over the last 10 years, Juliana has worked to develop an innovation ecosystem in APAC & Latin America to foster the power of design for desirable futures. Juliana was responsible for creating the first Google News Initiative Design Accelerator in 2019 in the Asia Pacific, and later designed and implemented the GNI Startup Labs in Brazil, and India. She also led innovation projects with Worksafe in Australia, and is currently leading a Design Accelerator for the House and Property Department. Guest: Alice Heiman. Alice is a curious high-school student from Sweden with a burning passion for programming and the natural sciences. She started to teach programming when she was 15 years old. Since then, she’s been involved in getting programming into the Swedish educational curriculum, been part of a start-up working with carbon offsetting, and helped students in her school study more efficiently. Guest: Ruvarashe Moyo. Ruvarashe is a 16 years old driven and ambitious young scientist from Zimbabwe working to bring sustainable development in her society. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Junior Space Explorers, an organization that aims to improve lives, inspire, and fulfill curiosity in children of all ages through space exploration and STEM. She was the first African as an intern at the University of California Santa Cruz in a program called Science Internship Program (SIP) where she was working on a research project called, We Are Stardust. She won gold medal for her research project which she exhibited at Zimbabwe Science Fair and was selected to represent Zimbabwe in the Genius Olympiad, the world's biggest environmental science competition for high school students, where she got a bronze medal. She was also a finalist at Africa Science Buskers Festival and scooped Gold medal in the Science Communication Category.
