Im spending a lot of time tweaking my discord and making changes so that I have a clear offer for people who join my channel memberships. I want to create something of value that can build me a compounding reoccurring income. I also get off on a rant about what to expect when starting your brand and how to ensure you reach success.

I was talking to a subscriber in my discord who has started making youtube videos and he was talking about how inefficient he was making a video by filming and editing on his phone. I reflected and realized that it's a key part of making a channel work.

Today I had to work, and i make most my money on saturday/sunday so it was a long day. I felt frustrated at work because i have an infinite list of things that i need to do but cant because i'm trapped at work.

My theory and strategy used to be just putting out a ton of shorts and hoping it grew my channel and my views. But it grew my channel without the main video views. Now im changing it a little to ensure my shorts are well thought out with a call to action that send people to my longer videos.

I don't know if I'm making the right decision of just being authentic and documenting my life/journey instead of creating scripted content. Who cares what I think or where i'm at on my journey anyway.

I decided that it was more important to finish the changes to the discord community rather then get some sleep. i'm going to be some tired tomorrow but at least my community is happy.

Today I worked on more discord tweaking, moving back my community focus to discord. I want to make it simple but very capable for my users. I talked about my workflow for putting out multiple videos and if I think it's bad to use the same content.

Building a community has been easy. But a profitable community has been much harder.
