Maya is a senior finance student at Hofstra University studying Business Administration and Finance. She’s currently interning as an editorial intern at Real Vision, and as a former summer intern at JP Morgan and the New York State Senate, she has experience in many different areas of finance and is excited to share some wisdom with you. Next year, she will be working at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as an Equity Capital Markets Analyst in New York.

Paul Chang is currently an Investment Banking Analyst at Guggenheim Partners, where he had previously interned. Throughout his 4 years of college, he held many internship positions at a variety of companies.

Welcome to the final episode of Season Two! This week, we chatted with Alfredo Rivera about investment banking.

Alfredo is currently an associate at Brunswick Group where he advises c-suite, corporate finance groups, and investor relations teams on strategic initiatives and business-critical financial communications. Previously, he worked at CitiBank as an Investment Banking Associate and at Banco Popular as a Head Trader. Alfredo graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics where he was a Fresh Person Conference Group Leader and a club swimmer. He then went on to get his MBA at Georgetown University, where he was a Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society inductee, the VP of Social in the Latin American Business Association, and President of Out@MSB.

Eric is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor of Finance at Quinnipiac University where he combines his academic teaching experience with his 24 years of Investment Management experience. He worked as a Fixed Income portfolio manager, risk manager, and head of operations across firms like MBIA Asset Management, and Insight Investment. He also received his BBA, MBA, and Doctorate from Pace University where he was awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Student Award. As a professor, he covers theoretical concepts as well as providing links between material learned in class to how it may be utilized in practice. We are so excited to have Eric speak with us and share his experiences with us!
