  • Three Man Weave - Weather Chaos & Hurling's Cynicism Problem

Mark, Mick and PJ are this week's Three Man Weave as they take you through a weird week of GAA.

Wexford were the big winners from a weekend of weather chaos as the lads ask if the current GAA calendar is fit for purpose. The presence of a hurling black card on the agenda for this month's GAA Congress has also created a backlash, but does hurling need to look at the cynicism in stopping goals?

Mark also provides some surprise drama with his National League Finals Higher or Lower Quiz and we celebrate the high flying Kerry hurlers and the high stakes drama of the football league.

  • The Buildup GAA: A 'Guess the Handicaps' Special

This week on The Buildup, we got a rematch of last week's scintillating game of 'Guess the Handicaps' between Donny and PJ. In a week where scrutiny towards GAA officiating was at fever pitch, Sean stepped in as arbitrator instead of Mark.

    Elsewhere on The Buildup:

Ladbrokes ambassador Kevin Doyle chats to the lads about the need for Shane Long in the Ireland squad, the Mauricio Pochettino-shaped hole on Manchester United's touchline and tales of extreme weather.

Finally, the two lads get us hyped for the upcoming start to the League of Ireland, with Balls' resident League of Ireland head Sean waxing lyrical about the League at large. Sean also tries his hand at the Big Shout.

If you have a Big Shout of 25/1 or over, send it to us, and you can win the grand prize of two cakes and a sports autobiography!

  • The Three Man Weave - Clifford's Red Card And Injury-Time Controversy

This week's Three Man Weave saw Gary, Donny and PJ blitz the talking points from the GAA weekend.

David Clifford's controversial red card against Tyrone, time-keeping in the Dublin vs Monaghan and Meath vs Mayo games, remarkable drama in Division 1 of the football league and, of course, the weather, were all covered.

The lads also had their 30 second whinges with referees being the truest of Gaels, domed GAA grounds and funding for clubs all being highlighted.
