Today we celebrate the dedication of the two great Churches in Rome- St Peter and St Paul. But we do more. We are invited to remember the Church of OUR formation in the gift of faith. Proper guilt is a warning sign by the conscience for the need to accept responsibility, seek forgiveness, do penance, make restitution, and the firm resolve not to do that sin again. We are NOT meant to live for this world only! We are are pilgrims. Our true and ETERNAL home lies beyond this world. We are to live in this world in such a way as to arrive in that world not make by human hands. We are a PEOPLE OF HOPE! And so to all those who are dear to us.
