We are social beings. We are are made to to live with and for others. We want to be accepted. Yet what is the PRICE we must pay for acceptance? We must we give up to be part of the group? Are there things too precious to abandon? Are we willing to give up or FAITH init order to fit in? These are CRUCIAL questions. How we answer these questions will determine our eternity!

We have many reasons, excuses, for hiding from Jesus: Iam a sinner, Iam unworthy, My past is too evil, Jesus is for holy people, etc. This episode reflect on the encounter between Jesus and Zacchaeus. It is OUR story as well.

Jesus tells us to pray always AND not lose heart. This sounds impossible! We have many duties and responsibilities. We can't neglect them. This episode offers a way to pray always and not lose heart.

We all like to receive gifts. The appropiate response is gratitude. On a deeper level, we are called to see the gift as an expression of the GIVER. We too often know the price of everything but the VALUE OF NOTHING. This episode reflects on the meaning of GRATITUDE. To receive with INSIGHT and not mere sight. To give is to do the very work of God!

We humans love rumors. Those little whispers that we are told but have no direct knowledge of. Rumors can be very destructive. The misuse of computers involves a good deal of rumor sharing. The Christian carries a special and precious brand much different than that of the world. We carry within us through Baptism the mark of belonging to Christ. Through the indwelling Holy Spirit, we are a NEW CREATION. We no longer live a purely natural birth, but we are reborn in the likeness of Christ. Today the Church honors to the glory of God Saint Luke with the WHITE MASS for all in the medical profession. Jesus came to HEAL, spiritually, mentally, and physically. Today we need to pray for all in the medical professions. The clash between the civilizatio of life and love versus the culture of death is very much with us. Let us lift to God all entrusted with caring for the sick, suffering, and dying. May they be God' witnesses to LIFE!

Each day is a gift from God. Good times, bad times, it we who determine how we will respond. We decide the true value of each day. From blessings to burdens, WE decide how to respond. We don't do it alone. For in ALL times, Jesus is OUR STRENGTH FOR EVERYTHING!

Where your heart is so also is your treasure. Life is a treasure hunt. We seek many things to give us life. Most are temporal, necessary but pass away. Do we seek that TREASURE which last into eternity? What or WHO is this treasure? This episode discusses the treasures we seek and how they connect to the ETERNAL treasure before and within us each day.
