Gabriel's Trumpet

Ours is a TIME OF TESTING. Do we obey God or do we seek the approval of the world under the control of the Evil One? Each day we enter the courtroom of everyday life and give testimony as to the TRUTH by the way we live. Do we live testifying that Jesus is Lord, or do we live testifying that Jesus is a lie? This a question of utmost importance.

Light and life are connected. Light is essential for life, natural and spiritual. Jesus is the Light and Life for the world. We are called to REFLECT the Light and Life that comes through the Crucified and Risen Lord. Each day we are, by our thoughts, words and actions REFLECT Jesus into the darkness that is sin and evil. Fear not for Jesus has overcome the Evil One.

To travel light is a blessing in freedom. To live each day by our NEEDS and NOT OUR GREEDS is to be free from much anxiety. We are also FREE FOR a deeper communion with the Rise Lord and helping others. We are to be PRUDENT in our daily journey to the Lord. Living by our needs is a blessed way to start.

What does it mean to be BORN AGAIN? How do we live our DAILY LIVES being born again? This episode discusses these questions in light of the challenge of living our Christian Faith in the world each day.

The gift of God's infinite love is shown in DIVINE MERCY. We are granted God's mercy and WE ARE CALLED TO SHOW MERCY. We are to DO the work of mercy, physical and spiritual, as a sign that God is present in daily life. This episode reflects on Divine Mercy and our vocation to be vessels of God's enduring mercy.

This last day of the Octave of Easter is once again a day of appearance by thr Risen Lord to the disciples and Mary Magdalene. Jesus sends the disciples into the whole world to proclaim the Good News. Jesus is sending EACH OF US INTO OUR EVERYDAY WORLD with the SAME MISSION-- TELL THE WORLD THE GOOD NEWS--- JESUS IS THE RISEN LORD!!!

We have all had the experience of the EMPTY NET, that is, we have worked hard and for a long time. Yet we SEEM to have been a failure. But is such the case? This episode, Part II for Fri Apr 9th Ovtave of Easter examines the meaning of the EMPTY NET. Can the empty net be a blessing? Can it be making room for God? The third appearance of the Risen Jesus to the disciples takes place by the Sea of Tiberas. The disciples have been fishing all night and caught nothing. When they arrive on shore with empty nets Jesus tells them to cast the nets once more. The disciples are able to bring forth a hugh catch! This episode discusses this appearance by Jesus and ifs meaning FOR OUR DAILY FISHING FOR THE LORD JN THE SEA OF OUR DAILY LIVES.

To be a witness is a solemn thing. We are indicating that we are telling the WHOLE TRUTH. And we are asking God to verify what we say is TRUE. Jesus calls each of us to provide DAILY TESTAMONY by iur thoughts, word, and ACTIONS that what we say about Jesus as Risen Lord is TRUE. Each day we are called to the witness stand if daily life. At the end of each day have we testified TRUTHFULLY that Jesus is THE Lord and Savior if the world?

Each of us travels the road to Emmaus. This episode discusses the journey to Emmaus. What does this road mean for our daily journey in these days after Easter? What part does Scripture and the offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass play in our knowing the Risen Lord?
