Mutant Chronicles, from Modiphius Entertainment, has released their 3rd edition rules on PDF. It's a diesel-punk game of traveling the solar system and having adventures on planets other than Earth. You also need to deal with the invading forces of the Dark Legion. We liken it to Shadowrun, Dark Conspiracy and steam-punk had a baby. It's a 2d20 system RPG that is 496 pages.

Our Kickstarter Spotlight shines on OmniBus. It's a simple game of you driving an unstoppable bus. You destroy the landscape while avoiding flipping the bus over. It's a wonderfully simple game that delighted us to no end.

We are taking a break from our convention theme to talk with Matthew McFarland of Growling Door Games. He picked up the license for the horror genre RPG Chill and brought it back in a new, updated version. We wanted to know what it took to get the license to a game that is no longer in print and breathe new life into it. We also discuss the impact Chill made on us in the 90's and what Matthew's plans for the future are for Chill resource books.

You play Phoenixborns, beings who are demi-gods, charged with protecting the world. Something has gone wrong, and greed rules the land. A legend of a Phoenixborn who absorbs enough of the ashes of others, can ascend into godhood. Now it's every Phoenixborn for themselves. Using your 30 card deck and your 10 dice magic pool, your fight the other Phoenixborn to conquer the world or just survive it.
