The Sovereign is then 'anointed, blessed and consecrated' by the Archbishop, whilst the Sovereign is seated in King Edward's chair (made in 1300, and used by every Sovereign since 1626).

We have already seen that there are two processions or internal activities in God -- knowing and willing. The NT and the Teaching Authority of the Church say that the Son proceeds from the Father by an act of intellect. The Holy Spirit also proceeds from the Father (and the Son) but the NT does not specify precisely how or in what way he proceeds. The common teaching of the great theologians like Augustine and Thomas Aquinas is that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the will or from the mutual love of the Father and the Son. Accordingly, there is a special relationship between the Holy Spirit and acts of the will, especially the act of love which proceeds from the will and not from the intellect.

The metaphor of imprinting does not take us in a different direction from that of effulgence, but reinforces it by speaking of the Son as the exact representation of the divine essence.

The Son shares the essence of God, but does so in a unique way. He is the repetition of God through a distinct agency. To express this requires language that expresses both sameness of essence (radiance) and distinction of person (exact imprint), without the latter opposing the former.

The Hebrew phrase refers to the pupil of the eye, perhaps by the idiom “the little man in [the] eye.” The term אִישׁוֹן (ʾishon, “pupil”) appears to be a diminutive from אִישׁ (ʾish, “man”). The saying may have arisen because the pupil will make a small reflection of the person looking into another’s eyes. Because of the importance of protecting the eye from harm, the “pupil” of the eye “has the idea of something precious that was to be guarded jealously” (NIDOTTE 386 s.v. אִישׁוֹן). Traditionally this Hebrew idiom is translated into English as “the apple of your eye” (so KJV, NAB, NIV, NRSV); a more contemporary rendering would be “as your most prized possession.” The point is that the teaching must be the central focus of the disciple’s vision and attention.

In this sermon we delve deeper into the context of Paul’s work in Philippians 3 from X2M.85 by widening the context to include Philippians 2 with the Master Model, the quintessential Man—Jesus.

“. . . but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature.” Philippians 2:7 NET

I believe Jesus, in His incarnation, is revealing Himself in two primary modes or, let’s say, philosophies or styles/modes of life.

1. He is self-emptying or emptied. You’ve heard me call this 0 or refer to “going for 0.” This Greek word, ἐκένωσεν ekenōsen, is only used in Philippians 2:7.

The preposition ἐκ in its best translation is “an initial moment in a lapse of time.*” The verb tense which ends the word ἐκένωσεν is in the aorist active indicative. This AAI tense is used to express things that happen in general, without asserting a particular time.

In my opinion, the verb ἐκένωσεν denotes that Jesus embodied the inwrought cross, “the 0 mode,” as His lifestyle in a perpetual manner and still does so even in His exaltation outside of time.

* “A close look at this preposition in some passages of the NT reveals a temporal meaning. Here, the morpho-lexeme ἐκ extends the local notion, which is the lexical meaning of the preposition and attains a temporal value when used with expressions of time and of quantity, as well as with events that are seen as so important that they become milestones. What is this standard that we have already attained? I’d never read Philippians 3:16 like this before—with the emphasis on “standard.”

After being exasperated and about to close the meeting today, the Spirit whispered, “John Wesley Redfield” and upon reading the excerpt above and then looking at Philippians 3:16 as a continuation of last week’s message on ἐξανάστασιν from Philippians 3:11, I was finally struck by the connection between Redfield’s, “Believe,” said he, “that you have it, and you have it,” and 3:16, “That we have already attained.” The Spirit then bore witness!

There is also a connection between Philippians 3:11 (ἐξανάστασιν) and Romans 1:4 (ἐξ ἀναστάσεως.)

‘In contrast to previous translations, our translation of the preposition ἐκ in Rom 1:4 seems to accommodate more precisely the temporal meaning of the passage: Rom 1:4: τοῦ ὁρισθέντος υἱοῦ θεοῦ ἐν δυνάμει κατὰ πνεῦμα ἁγιωσύνης ἐξ ἀναστάσεως νεκρῶν, Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν "He was constituted Son of God in full force according to the Spirit of holiness / Holy Spirit, from his resurrection from death." In line with W. Hill, with this translation we attempt to transmit more precisely Paul’s idea that divine filiation, vested on Jesus "in full power", was not "the result of" the resurrection, nor did it take place "by means of" the resurrection; rather, divine filiation is inaugurated "at the moment" of his resurrection.

In this sense, according to Paul, Jesus’s investiture with full power cannot depend on the resurrection, nor be an effect of it (= causal value). Similarly, resurrection is not a means to the investiture (= instrumental value). The syntagma ἐξ ἀναστάσεως νεκρῶν indicates only a fact, and it does so emphatically, since, as we have seen, ἐκ indicates the initial moment in a lapse of time more intensely than does the preposition ἀπό.”

PH10 X2M.82 — INAUGURATION ἐξανάστασιν

Inauguration is the genesis cosmogony of glorification. Isaiah foresaw it: “The Lord will swallow up the shroud that covers all peoples; he will swallow up death permanently, wipe away every tear, and remove disgrace from all the earth” (Isa. 25:7–8)¹. This is not metaphorical; it is molecular. In Jesus’ glorified body, passing through locked doors (John 20:19), we glimpse the shift of matter into incorruption². Humanity already carries the components for this transformation, seeded within, awaiting ignition.

In 2013, the Lord spoke: “I will kill Adonijah” — the false master within. Days later, Mandela’s death marked a global signpost, confirming the call to pioneer the glorified body³. Inauguration is thus not ambition but reconstitution, God orchestrating a global work for a global word.

The pattern is the gospel itself: Death, Burial, Resurrection, Ascension (DBRA). Each surrender initiates adversity, descent, and reconstitution. Paul longed not only for resurrection power (anastasis) but for the “out-resurrection” (ἐξανάστασιν), a passive rising received rather than achieved (Phil. 3:10–11)⁴.

Enoch’s 365 years embody this process, iteration upon iteration until “he was not, for God took him” (Gen. 5:24). His life prefigures exanastasis: sanctification upfitted into glorification⁵. Christ traced it flawlessly, offering humanity a transformative map.

INAUGURATION, then, is not pageantry. It is the splice where runtime begins, the exit into millennium. The shroud lifts, humanity receives the glorified body, and time itself is brought to its end.

So no combination of family 2D, church and state 3D-4D can produce the theocracy, for they do not have their being in the same “dimensional” sphere as the Theocracy. They exist in the sphere of common grace; but the Theocracy in the sphere of Consummation. As G. Vos points out: “The significance of the unique organization of Israel can be right measured only by remembering that the theocracy typified nothing short of the perfected kingdom of God the consummate state of heaven” (Old and New Testament Biblical Theology, 1942, P. 80).

Kline interprets Exodus through Malachi under the rubric of the Old Covenant, which is patterned by the standing and falling of the theocratic kingdom of Israel. Under the theocratic kingdom, Kline argues that there was not a fusion between state and church but sui generis.
