Combined with secrets and unique perks, UnderMine is a fun rougelike that will keep you playing but it comes with some faults that might turn new players from entering the mine.

The Falconeer is an accomplishment in many regards. It shows how passion from a single person can go a long way to creating something thats majestic and compelling to look at. But, The Falconeer is a video game at the end of the day and unfortunately when it comes to the "game" aspect its not nearly as much fun.

But when a designer pulls inspiration from such a wide variety of games it can sometimes leave a lot to be desired in terms of new and exciting challenge. Xeno Crisis is a throwback to a time when games were not only more simplistic but also ridiculously difficult. Xeno Crisis is kind of a twin stick shooter mixed with a Sega Genesis era soundtrack that will beat you down over and over to the point you want to give up. But theres something about that will keep pushing your forward as well. Its an old school game that will have you feeling old school thoughts. Like breaking controllers and not letting the game get the best of you.
