I sat down with my former undergraduate school classmate Kayla Weed to talk about her love for helping people paired alongside a passion for causing physical harm to others. Kayla is an incredibly intelligent and kind person with no criminal record and a fascinating life story. In this episode we break down a stigma surrounding MMA Fighters and the notion of acts of violence being correlated with crime and being mentally unstable. She talks about her passion to work in the field of psychology like me and work with students and what it was like growing up with a family of fighters. This was one of the most entertaining conversations I have ever had. A little over two years later Kayla would go onto help me with my own mental health.

After uploading my first episode to my podcast, I fell into a depressive state. In this episode, I go on an inspirational tangent for over 45 minutes where I talk about values and encourage you to be the best you can be and lift myself up in the process. 

On June 25th of 2020 I launched my first episode of this podcast. This episode was recorded approximately one year following the death of my friend's fiancé at the time, Shilo. My friend, who goes by the username of BlackMagePunk sat down with me a year later to talk with me about the importance of drawing attention to the issue of diabetes and highlight the importance of Shilo's life and influence which pushed me to start thinking of innovative ways to contribute to others and make the most of the time I have left.
