Grim Fandango? Never heard of it? Originally released in 1998, Grim has paved the way for thousands of adventure and puzzle games over the next 25 years. With a recent-ish remaster that came out, the boy decided to jump in and play through one of the games that changed the gaming landscape forever. With an amazing voice cast, unbelievably advanced puzzles, dialogue choices and more, Grim Fandango is a ride that both the boys were happy to be on. The game is not without it's issues however, as Luke and Colin dive into some of the misses they saw while playing this game. If you've played the game before, or just want to hear how a game from 25 years ago holds up, this isn't a podcast you want to miss.

Join the Gameaholic Podcast on a trip through a dystopian desert governed by a totalitarian dictator. This week, the boys jump into Road 96, a multi-storyline road trip game. With some wild characters, and even more wild situations, Luke and Colin have a lot to talk about! Road 96 has a very interesting twist on a multi-character storyline. So interesting in fact, that both the boys initially thought they finished the game within an hour on their play through. It turns out that a creepy island inhabited by ghosts and an old radio are all you need to make a stellar thriller game. This week the Gameaholic Podcast reviews Oxenfree, which is the second Night School Studio game that the boys have reviewed in as many weeks. Oxenfree parallels the other game (Afterparty) in a few ways but the boys dive into the aspects that make this game truly shine. As Indie month rages on, this is definitely an episode you do not want to miss.

You wake up in Hell and find out you have a second chance on Earth, but only if you can outdrink Satan himself. Think you can do it? This is the premise of the Gameaholic review this week. Luke and Colin dive into the indie game Afterparty. Travel with the boys through the grungy depths of hell. With a ton of unique alcoholic beverages, hilarious commentary and a very different view on the traditional hell, Afterparty delivers a unique gaming experience.

The Gameaholic Indie Month continues as the boys jump into OXIDE Room 104! Do you like escape rooms, puzzle solving and a confusing horror driven storyline? Well this is the game for you! Luke and Colin share their thoughts on a very unique style game. With different puzzles in each room, and mutated creatures around every corner, you never know what you're going to get in OXIDE.

After several weeks of audio issues, the boys have finally returned with an all new episode. In the first game review of our second-ever Gameaholic Indie Month, the boys talk through The Suicide of Rachel Foster. In one of the most serious episodes of the podcast to date, the boys talk through the underlying themes of the game as well as their own feelings. Adam (Gaff3r) rejoins the podcast as season 19 of Destiny comes to an end and Luke and Adam go deep into their Season of the Seraph experience. As seasoned Destiny players, the conversation instantly turns to the playability of this season and the myriad of issues the servers saw. The boys discuss the API crashing, player triumphs being revoked and even a player who had their character removed from existence (nightmare fuel for any player). It's not all bad news though, as the episode finishes strong, discussing the seasonal activity, the (arguably) BEST exotic quest Destiny has put together and the changes to difficulty, including Grandmasters.
