Grim Fandango? Never heard of it? Originally released in 1998, Grim has paved the way for thousands of adventure and puzzle games over the next 25 years. With a recent-ish remaster that came out, the boy decided to jump in and play through one of the games that changed the gaming landscape forever. With an amazing voice cast, unbelievably advanced puzzles, dialogue choices and more, Grim Fandango is a ride that both the boys were happy to be on. The game is not without it's issues however, as Luke and Colin dive into some of the misses they saw while playing this game. If you've played the game before, or just want to hear how a game from 25 years ago holds up, this isn't a podcast you want to miss.

The Gameaholic Podcast reunites with guest star Billy (WOLFO911) to head to a galaxy far far away. Hot off the majorly anticipated release, Luke and Billy finally get to reunite with Cal Kestis in Jedi: Survivor. After almost a year since Billy joined the podcast to review Jedi: Fallen Order, the boys have been foaming at the mouth for more Cal. In this episode, Luke and Billy cover everything from the difficulty of the game, to the puzzles, to the combat and finally to the amazing storyline and characters. With tons of lore, tons of shocking special cameos and so much more, this podcast is more action packed than a pod race on Tatooine. If you want someone to geek out about Jedi: Survivor with, this is definitely the podcast to listen to.

Join the Gameaholic Podcast on a trip through a dystopian desert governed by a totalitarian dictator. This week, the boys jump into Road 96, a multi-storyline road trip game. With some wild characters, and even more wild situations, Luke and Colin have a lot to talk about! Road 96 has a very interesting twist on a multi-character storyline. So interesting in fact, that both the boys initially thought they finished the game within an hour on their play through. With some deep routed themes and commentaries on government, there is a lot to talk about in this hour long episode. So come sit around the desert bonfire and join the conversation.

It turns out that a creepy island inhabited by ghosts and an old radio are all you need to make a stellar thriller game. This week the Gameaholic Podcast reviews Oxenfree, which is the second Night School Studio game that the boys have reviewed in as many weeks. Oxenfree parallels the other game (Afterparty) in a few ways but the boys dive into the aspects that make this game truly shine. As Indie month rages on, this is definitely an episode you do not want to miss.

You wake up in Hell and find out you have a second chance on Earth, but only if you can outdrink Satan himself. Think you can do it? This is the premise of the Gameaholic review this week. Luke and Colin dive into the indie game Afterparty. Travel with the boys through the grungy depths of hell. With a ton of unique alcoholic beverages, hilarious commentary and a very different view on the traditional hell, Afterparty delivers a unique gaming experience.

The Gameaholic Indie Month continues as the boys jump into OXIDE Room 104! Do you like escape rooms, puzzle solving and a confusing horror driven storyline? Well this is the game for you! Luke and Colin share their thoughts on a very unique style game. With different puzzles in each room, and mutated creatures around every corner, you never know what you're going to get in OXIDE.

After several weeks of audio issues, the boys have finally returned with an all new episode. In the first game review of our second-ever Gameaholic Indie Month, the boys talk through The Suicide of Rachel Foster. In one of the most serious episodes of the podcast to date, the boys talk through the underlying themes of the game as well as their own feelings. This game and podcast deal with very sensitive topics including sexual assault and suicide that can act as a trigger for some people. Please be mindful as you listen.

Luke is joined by the show's regular guest star Billy (WOLF0911) as they dive into one of the most anticipated games of 2023. In an absolutely massive and magical world, the boys talk through their favourite quests, the challenges with the main story and most importantly, did they use dark magic or not. In a game where the player gets to choose if their character is good or evil, there is so many factors to talk about. With both Luke and Billy completing the game's platinum trophy challenge within a week, you can guarantee they are covering all aspect. If you're curious about play styles, house side quests and the specific Playstation exclusive quest line, this is the podcast you don't wanna miss.  

Adam (Gaff3r) rejoins the podcast as season 19 of Destiny comes to an end and Luke and Adam go deep into their Season of the Seraph experience. As seasoned Destiny players, the conversation instantly turns to the playability of this season and the myriad of issues the servers saw. The boys discuss the API crashing, player triumphs being revoked and even a player who had their character removed from existence (nightmare fuel for any player). It's not all bad news though, as the episode finishes strong, discussing the seasonal activity, the (arguably) BEST exotic quest Destiny has put together and the changes to difficulty, including Grandmasters. If you're a Destiny fan, or thinking about getting back in, this episode is for you!

The Playstation Plus free game of December comes packed with side quests, guns and weapons. Imagine Borderlands combined with Fallout combined with Zootopia in an open world adventure. Seriously, imagine that. The boys as the dive into everything good, the bad and ugly inside the monstrous and very confusing world of Biomutant.
