Game Changers brought the diversity like no other show to date – first speaking with author and TedX speaker, Matt Tenney. Tenney authored the book, Serve to Be Great: Leadership Lessons from a Prison, a Monastery, and a Board Room. Matt and Lisa chopped it up sharing their views on Servant Leadership and how we can all serve to be great! Gilles Walters, the Esquire Rapper stopped by to tell us why he chose a rap career after successfully securing a legal career! He has found a great way to marry the two and is indeed a Game Changer you will enjoy hearing from. Michael Ross stepped in for the closing minutes to lift our hearts, spirits and minds to live a worry free life as he so eloquently and practically penned in his latest release, Worry Free Living. The book is stimulating and freeing and so was our time with Mr. Ross!

Game Changers joined legions of country listeners’ favorite music picks by opening the hour with Kansas City Country Music Princess, Josey Milner followed by phenomenal writer-author Crystal Selene Jones, who was responsible for the formation of the iconic group TLC in which she was an original member. Crystal was joined by her attorney, Michelle Simpson, Esq., a star contracts and entertainment attorney who is CEO & Managing Partner of Poe Simpson Law in Atlanta, GA.

Game Changers was honored to have two great men of distinction in the studio, General Manager of WAEC Love 860, Greg Cooper and Commissioner Elect Marvin Arrington Jr. of Atlanta’s new 5th District. Both shared their views and accomplishments all steeped in service to others. Closing the hour was phenomenal, sweet, pretty Director, Curator Interpretation of Atlanta’s Civil and Human Rights Center, Dina Bailey. The hour was electric!

Cox Jr. and Attorney Brian Poe joined Game Changers with Lisa Faulkner for the full hour to congratulate two great Atlantans and Attorneys who were being inducted into the National Bar Association’s Attorney Hall of Fame – featured guests Charles S. Johnson & Thomas Sampson, Sr. The honorees were outstanding spokesmen and honors to have on! Also among many other recognitions (“Super Lawyers”) and titles, Thomas Cox is an expert on judicial races, having competed impressively in a contested race. Wonderfully skilled journalist, Eric Stirgus of the Atlanta Journal Constitution joined Lisa for the hour as co-host. His journalism experience and curiosity were informative and peeked by following guests, Lillian Brummet. Lillian is an author with an unmatched story of recovery and triumph from a childhood that left her on her own at the age of 13. Lastly, but certainly not least was the well renowned novelist, Jack Engelhard. His best known work, Indecent Proposal, went on to become a blockbuster movie grossing over $266 million dollars! Her determination and approach to law and the welfare of her clients in the workplace was revealed as she discussed her current and most embittered cases. Coach West of Look Faith First brought the Game Changers listeners more than we prayed for with his principled approach to business. Coach West is a drum major at building and informing businesses on how to achieve quality customer service and long-term relationships while keeping the faith. The hour ended with much to talk about from Doug Hess and his book, Gordon Gekko, CEO: Lessons from Wall Street for a Winning Attitude. Doug shared the challenges he has overcome and the keys to help everyone succeed in the workplace from the ground up.
