The NFL season is underway. While the Shield stole most of the headlines, there’s still other items to touch on in the world of sports. Eric and Larry cover it all from the Downtown Minneapolis studio. They’ll start by looking back to Week 1 wins for the Vikings and Packers. They’ll continue by looking ahead to the Week 2 showdown between the Vikings and Packers. Along the way, we’ll get perspectives from both teams (Vikings victory with Anthony Barr, Xavier Rhodes, and Latavius Murray; Packers preparation with coach Mike McCarthy). After that, we hear about some of the stories making up the last few weeks of the baseball season. Tom Tuttle joins us to break down an interesting week for the Twins. And the Gophers try to stay perfect before their conference schedule begins.

The guys look back on the Purple’s season-opening victory over San Francisco. They also exchange thoughts on the crazy swings of emotion that was Chicago-Green Bay.
