Segment 5: The Twins are hosting a big series this weekend, with division-leading Cleveland in for four games.  Eric and Jonathan take a look back at Thursday night’s offensive show.  What’s leading to these mediocre stretches?  And what else could go wrong?

Segment 4: The Gopher baseball team is doing something it hasn’t done in nearly two decades.  GDG’s Jonathan Lowe jumps on the mic for the second half of the show, talking about Minneapolis hosting an NCAA Regional.  How big is this achievement for the program?

Segment 3: At the Finals, you see a lot of NBA champions.  One of them is Sam Cassell, who has three rings to his name.  Larry caught up with the former Timberwolves point guard to talk hoops and the legacy of Kevin Garnett.

Segment 2: As with so many postseason game, there will be many moments to discuss in barbershops for years to come.  Cleveland’s J.R. Smith had some of those moments in Thursday’s Game 1 of the NBA Finals.  Larry details those incidents, including the play that left people scratching their heads at the end of regulation.  Was this Cleveland’s best chance to get ahead of Golden State?

It’s an annual tradition once the NBA’s signature series rolls around.  Larry is out in Oakland this week, covering the latest installment of a Warriors-Cavaliers Finals saga.  Eric holds it down in the Downtown Minneapolis studio.  They look back on a fascinating Game 1 of the series.  We also get an interesting take from NBA champion Sam Cassell on one of his former teams (the Timberwolves).  Later, GDG producer Jonathan Lowe joins the proceedings to look at Gopher baseball’s home cooking, the Twins hosting a division rival, and an entertaining start to the Stanley Cup Final.

Segment 1: The NBA Finals kicked off with a historic performance and a dramatic Game 1.  Larry is out in Oakland to cover the series, and he takes us through LeBron James’ 51-point effort and the Warriors’ overtime victory.

Segment 6: The big story that dropped this week came from the NFL, when the league decided to change their policy regarding players and personnel standing for the National Anthem.  Which side do the guys fall on in this controversial issue?

Segment 5: Byron Buxton is getting back into his routine after being on the DL.  He stops by to talk with us about the return to the field.  He also explains his role in the Shred Hate anti-bullying campaign.  Why is this issue important to him?

Segment 4: The Lynx are back to work on defending their WNBA title.  But are they not getting their due for recent success?  Eric and Larry try to find some explanation of why the team did not get an invite to the White House.  After that, the NBA Playoffs are finally getting dramatic at its conference finals stage.

Segment 3: On this Memorial Day Weekend, Eric and Larry reminisce on a tasty bet that the Vikings won during a mid-90s Sunday in Chicago.  Off of that story, should Dennis Green be inducted in the Vikings Ring of Honor?  They also touch on the Supreme Court decision to allow states to institute sports betting.

Segment 2: At the beginning of the season, you had the Washington Capitals and the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final, right?  Our hosts look at this incredible story that both teams are writing.  Then, the Wild find their man to run the front office.
