  • Episode 173: Games So Good, They're Bad
Gasp! Wow, that was so lucky that we got out of there. When sex-crazed Nazi bikini-zombies grabbed Nick Dinicola, there was nothing that Holy Goalie could do but go after them. I mean him. Yeah, that's what I meant. And then when Goalie didn't come back, Edie Sellers had to check out what was going on. I'm not sure why she took the cattle prod and shock collar. We're sure it was to fight the binkini zombies. And she seemed to be muttering when she left. Something about "keeping it in your pants" and "you can get the zombie-clap on your own time but not on my show." I'm certain those were incantantions of protection. You know, words of power. Anyway, that's why there's been no show for three weeks. And we're sticking to it. Enjoy.

  • Episode 172: That's It. I Quit.
This is an epic GameHounds episode. Not just because it clocks in at nearly two hours. No. It's because co-hosts Nick Dinicola and GamerEdie Sellers offend Holy Goalie to the point he's thinking of quitting the show. It's like watching the World Championship Staring Contest and the hands-on favorite blinks. When they're not skirting danger, the GameHounds staff asks, "When is a game finished." And apparently they don't agree. What a surprise. Also, you'll get your weekly dose of The Rumor Mill. Enjoy.

  • Episode 169: Used Games Are Not the Enemy
Sometimes GameHounds is about news. Sometimes it's about games. Sometimes it's all about Skyrim. Actually, lately it's frequently been all about Skyrim, ... but that's another post. This week, our intrepid GameHounds hosts — Holy Goalie, Nick Dinicola, and Edie Sellers — discuss one big news-related topic: Used games and their pros and cons. This comes from a recent rumor from Kotaku that the next gen Xbox console that prevents used games from being played. Not bloody likely, that that doesn't stop the GameHounds gang from launching into a sometimes heated discussion of the used-game market and its effect on the game industry. Enjoy.

  • Episode 168: I Got 99 Problems...
Let's be honest. It's a lot more than 99 problems. The first one being a computer that won't talk to your recording software. That didn't stop the GameHounds kids from getting it done for another episode of GameHounds Podcast. Nick Dinicola, Holy Goalie, and Edie Sellers rip out a short podcast and a long Rumor Mill — you know, the part where they talk about spoilers and tips for Skyrim. We promise, next week, less Skyrim. Enjoy.

  • Episode 167: The Longest Podcast Ever
Sometimes podcasts have a life of their own. The conversation turns and then it just goes. That's what happens this week with GamerEdie Sellers, Nick Dinicola, and Holy Goalie. It's kinda like Skyrim: Just when you think you're done, you discover a whole new uncharted territory. Of course, Skyrim plays a large part in the length of this show. The trio not only discuss the game, which has become more a lifestyle than just a game, and then tack on an extra Rumor Mill section of spoilers and tips for Skyrim The delay in getting this week's show on the servers comes from a new GameHounds computer system, which is still working out some settings and details. You'll probably notice that this week's show is louder than previous shows. Just a little warning, there. Turn down your MP3 player a bit more than usual to listen to this show. These little refinements will be improved in coming weeks. Enjoy.

  • Episode 166: Our Xmas Gaming Wishlist
I know. Christmas is over. But keep in mind, podcasts exist in the past. Or, more accurately, in the podcasting world, you exist in the future. The fuuuuuuture! This episode, recorded on the birthday of co-host Edie Sellers, goes over a bunch of stuff. Edie, Nick Dinicola, and Holy Goalie get a visit from a listener who defends Batman: Arkham City, Nick breaks his Skyrim cherry, and the gang go over what's interesting in the gaming world. And yes, there's a wishlist in there somewhere. Also, GameHounds revives that venerable tradition: The Good Kid/Bad Kid contest. Want to win a whole bucketload of games? This week, we're opening entries for the Bad Kids out there. Nine awful games for one awful deed. Details are in the show. Enjoy.
