  • Episode 145: Wheatly Industries by Sony
Oh, hello. Didn't expect to see you there. Sooo, yes. You're here for the podcast, I expect. Good for that. And you. Of course, you. Wouldn't want to forget, ehm, you. Good to meet you. I'm Wheatly. I'm here to make sure you get your podcast, and might I say, I'm very good at it. Where did I come from? Oh, that's easy. Sony. Yes, Sony made me to oversee that whole issue with its system being hacked. But don't worry, I'm on the case and I am 100 percent sure you'll be completely satisfied with the way I've handled it. Absolutely sure. Well, mostly sure. But nevermind that. More pressing issues at hand. Like, ummm, your podcast. This week, Holy Goalie, Leah Haydu, Nick Dinicola and Edie Sellers are talking about... well, about me! And other things, like:
    Hulu Plus
    Smuggle Truck . Pussies.
Portal 2 DLC . And someone got the mass e
Mass Effect 3 , and EA says they're working on changes to the game.
Wii is getting a price cut and a bundle change.
Sony continues to flail about like a gutted chicken over its server breach. And the wolves... er, lawyers... are smelling the blood.
In other Sony news: Welcome back! You get a month of Playstation Plus. That makes us even, right?
Enjoy. But of course you'll enjoy. I'm 100 percent sure you'll enjoy at least 50 percent of it.

  • Episode 144: The Portal 2 Spoilerific Episode
Be warned: The first 40 minutes or so of this episode is filled with Portal 2 campaign spoilers. So if you have yet to play, or get more than half way through the game's story mode, you may want to just skip to news.
    News begins at 35:35.
In this episode, there's a lot to talk about. Not the least of which is the biggest news in gaming in a very long time — and no, it's not the release Wills and Kate's Wedding Dash or Headshot 3: Abbottabad:
    • Playstation Network Qriocity get taken off line for at least two weeks (now Sony's saying maybe a month). Bottom line: Your personal and credit-card information was stolen, and Sony took better than a week to bother to tell anyone.
    • Rumors float about that the new Wii will come in 2012 and will sport a touchscreen.
    • Gamefly wins an important suit against the US Postal Service that could mean better service and (hopefully) cheaper fees.
    • Gamestop will discontinue Nintendo DS Lite sales when its current stock runs out.
    • The Nintendo 3DS sells a ton, but not as big a ton as they though it would.
    • Emails (including more gay character discussion)
    • Enjoy.

    • Episode 143: HeHounds vs. SheHounds
It was just a mild-mannered day — if inanimate objects can be mild-mannered — and the three hosts of GameHounds got together for a podcast. And it was just an average email from a listener. What ensued was anything but average. Battle lines were drawn, with boys on one side and girls on the other. What resulted was one of the best debates about sex, gender, and gaming we've ever had on a show. When we weren't discussing whether girls should get back in the kitchen and make me some pie, topics include:
Microsoft attempts to set a Guinness World Record
Microsoft's Xbox dashboard promotion misses the mark.
Sega despite knowing about it for eight years.
      PSP Go .
Alice: Madness Returns for the updated original American McGee's Alice.
      Enjoy.

    • Episode 142: Jack Trenton is Drunk
Welcome, GameHounders. It's another week, and it's another podcast from your GameHounds staff. This week, Holy Goalie, Nick Dinicola, Leah Haydu, and Edie Sellers wrap up the week in gaming news. Topics include:
The World Bank says that because it's a viable way to bring cash to developing countries.
      Battlefield 3 won't on consoles.
      in Bioshock Infinite.
      Jack Trenton says .
      Enjoy.

    • GameHounds 141: The Bitcheless Episode
If you're a fan of Edie Sellers, this is not your episode. Edie is suspiciously abscent this episode. Where is she? Plotting the domination of the world? Cornering the market in link sausage? Or — more likely — face down in a tub of Chunky Monkey while trying to get in Alaister's pants for the twelfth time. Well, no matter where she is, Holy Goalie, Nick Dinicola, and Leah Haydu aren't afraid to carry on with the news and commentary. And without Edie around, they can talk about her behind her back. Enjoy.

    • Episode 140: Neir From Behind
Now that we have Leah Haydu on staff, let's face it: The conversation will eventually turn to boobs and butts. Oh yes it will. And we don't fail to impress at our fascination with virutally created Japanese lady-parts — or with the rest of the games out there. This week Leah, Edie Sellers, Holy Goalie, and Nick Dinicola, chat up a bunch of games they've played and news from around the gaming universe, incuding:
      Serious Sam
      Neir
      Dragon Age 2
      Load
We Dare and the ESRB's hypocracy compared to the Dead Island logo.
Netflix seeks rights to air remake of BCC series House of Cards before it appears on network television.
PAX venue to expand in Boston, and PAX East attendance beats all previous numbers.
      We heart Norway.
      Enjoy.

    • Episode 139: PAX East 2011 In My Pants
It's the big, fat wrap-up show of PAX East 2011. And it's in our pants.

This week Holy Goalie, Edie Sellers, and Nick Dinicola are joined by our very own Leah Haydu, by popular demand. We talk about what we saw at PAX East last week in Boston, what went wrong, what went right, and what games were there. If you've ever considered going to either PAX, this is a show you don't want to miss.

      Topics include:
      • Tens of thousands of nerds descend on Boston and the city freaks out.
      • Goalie's review of Homefront.
      • Leah's review of Splatterhouse.
      • Nick and Edie's review of Dragon Age 2.
      • THQ's stock price drops after the release of Homefront.
      • And there was much rejoicing.

      • Episode 138: Welcome to the Gimpcast
Get out your ball gags and your leather masks, kids! It's time for the GameHounds Podcast — or as it was almost dubbed this week, the Gimpcast. Curious what we mean? Just listen. You'll understand. This week, Nick Dinicola, Holy Goalie, and Edie Sellers hit the past week's news like it was Bruce Willis in a pair of bondage pants. Topics discussed include:
Dragon Age 2 , and we tell you what we think.
        Killzone 3 .
        Battlefield 3
        The Nintendo 3DS
Bethesda's , and by the looks of it, it'll be serious business. So start makin' babies!
        Gears of War 3 is
Kinect for Windows , according to internal reports. And they're free.
Mark Wahlberg will be Nathan Drake in the upcoming Uncharted movie, and director David O. Russle ("O" stands for "Oh, so you have no idea what you're doing?") w.
        Enjoy.

      • Episode 137: Make Games, Not War
All we are saying is give multiplayer a chance... Everybody sing! Okay, maybe not. How about this: Instead of singing — if that's what you call that sound of cats copulating coming out of your mouth — how about you just listen. This week, Edie Sellers, Holy Goalie, and Nick Dinicola chat about news and what's interested them in the week of the gaming world. Topics include:
Dragon Age's sex scenes; Medal of Honor vs. Call of Duty; and does "realistic warfare" make a bad game?
Sony Ericsson of the PSP Phone (aka: Xperia Play) of $400.
Modern Warfare 2 comes to Xbox Live Games on Demand —
Tim Shaffer's Double Fine Studios is .
