Episode 17 of Gaming Couch and the start of season 3!

DnD Is really awesome. It allows a lot of creativity from all players (whether character or DM).

In this episode, I take some time to share a story about a monk being banished to the Abyss. The game has gotten much bigger now and the story is much more complex and engaging for everyone. All of this happened because I decided to tweak the rules in a very, very small way.

Episode 16 of Gaming Couch. First off, I apologize for last week and not posting. We're going to keep going forward and stick to the schedule and updates!

Now, for this episode....it turned into a little bit of a rant, which isn't bad. We look into Valkyria Chronicles 4. I loved the first game. I think it did great for character development and story building. How about the fourth one? Does it keep up with making the story and characters something to love? Well...it is an hour long episode....take a good guess.

Episode 15 of Gaming Couch. Why bother censoring things? I wouldn't say this is a big 'hot topic', however it hits close to home. There was footage of, and now talk off, the Gnorcs in Twilight Harbor from Spyro The Dragon having censored guns that shoot goop. In the past, the bullets didn't look like bullets, they looked like multicolored triangles. Why is this a problem now, when in Crash we still have Pinstripe shooting his Tommy Gun without a problem. I've tripled check and so far I still only see links going back to June and teh confirmed censor. I know I'm late to the party. I'm not an internet guy so things take time to get to me. Hey, we still have to November, maybe something will change.

Episode 14 of Gaming Couch. I wanted to do a rant today! With all the planning and prep for teaching the new school year my mind has been busy away with all that. Today I wanted to let it wonder and think about one of my favorite parts of video games, boss fights. There is very little structure here for this epsiode, its just for the prue fun. I want you to tell me, what was your favorite or least favorite boss fight? Why is it? There is so much to explore with these big baddies we are made to take down!

Hello everyone. I am unable to do an epsiode tonight. I had a funeral to attend for a very good friend of mine and I am not in the right place to make a new epsiode. We'll take the week off and come back again next Sunday.

Episode 13 of Gaming Couch! A little on the shorter side of the normal episodes. It's been a busy getting ready for school week!

This has been on my mind for a bit. I wanted to just go unscripted and throw everything out there. Dungeon Crawling. What is it and when is it good? Many games have some Dungeon Crawling in it. For me, the highlight is Skyrim's Blackreach.

Episode 12 of Gaming Couch.

I told myself I would never talk about Evolve. So let's talk about Evolve ('Evolution', the game 'Evolve', get it?! I hate myself sometimes). It's been a long time since this game had its rise to fame and then immediate fall into the underbelly of gaming to never be soon again. But why? What made it fall? I got a theory.

I finally did the thing! Everything here is now posted on Youtube, in addition to all other platforms. I will be posting on all platfroms at the same time every week so have no fear!

Episode 11 of Gaming Couch (And the start of Season 2! I guess?)

Let's look at a beloved series. Super Smash Bros. A game I am sure many of us played. Especially if you had, or knew someone who had, a Nintendo 64. It has been almost 20 years since the release of the first game and with Ultimate coming around in December I figure this is a good time to talk about it. What was great about the original? What happened with Melee and Brawl that brought about Project M? Who liked Smash 4 on the Wii U? A lot of good questions.
