After a long gape, welcome to a fresh episode of Gapu Saha Gapasapa (ଗପୁ ସହ ଗପସପ). In this episode, I had a beautiful conversation with Contemporary Artist Birendra Pani, son of Prahlad Pani, the founder of Narayan Chandra Kala Mandir at Kantapada, a place 10 kilomters away from the district head quarter of Bhadrak district in Odisha, India.

Samaresh Routray (ସମରେଶ ରାଉତରାୟ) is one of the finest actors from the Ollywood Industry who started his career in Bollywood after completing his studies at the National School of Drama, Delhi. In Odia Film Industry, he debuted as a hero, and then he has done lots of characters in negative roles.

Classical Odia Language Day or Sastriya Odia Bhasa Dibasa (Odia: ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀୟ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା ଦିବସ) is a day for the Odia Language, the 6th classical language of India. On 11 March 2014, the Govt. of India has approved the Classical Language tag for the Odia language, so we're celebrating the day as the Classical Odia Language Day.

କାହିଁ କେଉଁ ଆବାହ‌ମାନ କାଳରୁ ନାରୀକୁ ଆମେ ଆଦି ଶକ୍ତି ରୂପେ ପୂଜା କରି ଆସୁଛେ । ଆମେ ସଭିଏଁ ଜାଣିନ୍ତି ଯେ, ନାରୀ ହିଁ ହେଉଁ ଆମ ସଭିଙ୍କର ସୃଷ୍ଟିକାରୀ ଆଉ ସେ ବି ଦରକାର ପଡ଼ିଲେ ସାଜିଥାଏ ସଂହାରକାରୀ । ଯେତେବେଳେ ଦୁନିଆରେ ପାପର ଭାର ବଢ଼ିଯାଇଥିଲା ସେତେବେଳେ ବି ସେହି ଅତ୍ୟାଚାରୀ ଅସୁର ମହିଷାସୁରକୁ ବଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଦେବୀ ଦୁର୍ଗାଙ୍କର ଆବାହ‌ନ କାରାଯାଇଥିଲା । ନାରୀ ଶକ୍ତି ବିଷୟରେ ସଭିଙ୍କୁ ମନେ ପକାଇଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ସବୁବେଳେ ଦୁର୍ଗାପୂଜା ଏବଂ କାଳୀପୂଜା ବ‌ହୁ ଆଡ଼ମ୍ବର ସ‌ହ ପାଳନ କରିଆସୁଛୁ ।

ନାରୀ କେବେ ବି ଅବଳା ନୁହେଁ କି ଦୂର୍ବଳା ନୁହେଁ । ତା'ର ଜଳ୍ୱନ୍ତ ଉଦାହରଣ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଦେବୀ ଦୂର୍ଗା, ଆଦି ଶକ୍ତି ମା' ମହାମାୟା । ସେହିଭଳି ଆମ ଇତିହାସ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନେକ ପାରଙ୍ଗମା ନାରୀଙ୍କୁ ସାଇତିଛି ତା'ର ପୃଷ୍ଠାମାନଙ୍କରେ । ଝାନ୍ସୀର ରାଣୀ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀବାଈ ହୁଅନ୍ତି କି କାକତୀୟ ସାମ୍ରାଜ୍ୟର ରାଣୀ ରୁଦ୍ରମା ଦେବୀ ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ, ସେମାନେ ଦୁର୍ବଳା କିମ୍ବା ଅବଳା ନୁହ‌ନ୍ତି । ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଧରି ସମ୍ମୁଖ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିଥିଲେ ତା'ର ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କ ସ‌ହ । ଆମର ସମାଜରେ ଥିବା ନାରୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ନୁହ‌ନ୍ତି । ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଭାବୁଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ କରୁଥିବା କାମକୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିନ କରିଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ଆପଣମାନେ ବି ଜାଣିଯିବେ ସେମାନେ କ'ଣ । ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ କରିଦେଇଛି ଆମର ଏହି ସମାଜ ଏବଂ ଏହି ସମାଜରେ ଚଳିଆସୁଥିବା ପରମ୍ପରା । ଯେମିତି ହାତୀକୁ ଛୋଟବେଳୁ ସର୍କସରେ ବାନ୍ଧି ରଖିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତା' ମନରେ ଏକ ଭୟ ଆସିଯାଇଥାଏ ଏବଂ ସେ ମହାଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହେବା ପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଶୀକୁଳୀକୁ ଖୋଲିବାକୁ ସାହାସ କରେନି । ସେହିଭଳି ଆମ ସମାଜରେ ନାରୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ପୁରୁଣା ପରମ୍ପରାକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦେଖାଇ ନିଜକୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ବୋଲି ମନେ କରୁଛନ୍ତି । କେହି ଯଦି ଏହି କଥାର ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କରୁଛି, ତା'ହେଲେ ଅନେକ ଶକ୍ତି ସେହି ଗୋଟିଏ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ଚାପିଦେବାର ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛି ।

ନାରୀକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦେବାପାଇଁ  ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ୮ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିନ ମହିଳା ଦିବସ ପାଳନ କରିଦେଲେ ହେବନାହିଁ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଦିନ ଏହି ଦିବସ ମନରେ ପାଳିବା ଦରକାର ।
