Garbage Day

This week's episode features a film straight outta Beaver Dam, Wisconsin! Lew Lehman had one movie under his director's cap and that movie was 'The Pit'. This mainly overlooked film was released in 1981. It's about a creepy preteen boy, Jamie, who has a secret deep in the woods. If you make him angry, he just might take you there and throw you in his pit. His pit full of TROLLOLOGS! He's guided by his equally creepy teddy bear, Teddy. Now listen as we discuss this forgotten gem.

The nukes fell, the nuclear winter hit, and we're still watching trash films. This week we found something released by Cannon Films, America 3000. This film is what our future could hold if we aren't safe, or maybe if we are too safe, who knows. Listen up and see what we could possibly tell you about it.

Tetsuo: The Iron Man was based on a play that Shin'ya Tsukamoto had written, directed, and performed in college. About a Japanese businessman who accidentally kills a mad 'metal fetishist'. He proceeds to hide the corpse, unaware that he's plagued by a curse that turns his flesh into steel. This was our first time watching this impressive body horror masterpiece.

We haven't watched many of the big horror franchises so we're diving right into an all-time classic series. We're hunting the worst movies and this one, A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, is a bad one. You can't escape your nightmares and you definitely couldn't do it five times in a row, so sit down and just absorb this episode.

There ain't no stoppin us! We put our windbreakers on for this one cuz we're poppin, lockin, droppin, and dippin! We watched 1984's 'Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo. That's right, this sequel is full of amazing, liquid-fluid dance moves. It's going to make you get up and break your neck! Turbo, O-Zone, and Special K need to raise $200,000 to save Miracles, the youth center, from a rich douche that wants to build a shopping center in the same location. Grab a cold one and listen to Garbage Day!

We are watching a star-studded animated film with a budget that rivals the original Shrek, and it's got even more people in it. The 2012 movie, Foodfight!, is what we watched this week. Charlie Sheen shines bright in this jewel-encrusted turd, and Hillary Duff is also there. What is this movie about? Who cares? Do we?

On this week's episode of Garbage Day Sean got to pick the movie. So what does he do? He picks a terrible movie and sleeps through most of it. Oh boy!!! We had semi-conscious good time on this one! Ted A. Bohus wrote and directed this trashy, sleaze-drenched, boob flick that is, VAMPIRE VIXENS FROM VENUS! A group of ugly ass aliens come to earth transformed as busty bombshells to attract the simple minded men and extract their post-spurt brain juices lol. You better listen to this!!!

We watched 1990's action packed movie 'Guns', starring Erik Estrada and Dona Speir. After a failed assassination attempt on her partner, DEA agent Donna Hamilton discovers that the crime lord responsible for her father's death is coming after her and her associates. Grab a cold one and join us as we discuss this steaming hot pile of movie.

Hello lovers of trash cinema. This week's episode of Garbage Day features a treat from special effects master Gabriel Bartalos. We watched Saint Bernard, an insane film about an inspiring music conductor named Bernard. Bernard has become unhinged, but he's quickly inspired when he finds the remains of a dead Saint Bernard. This film is a visual treat that feels like a dream from beginning to end. Listen as we discuss this strange film oddity.

Aspiring film god, Richard Gabai, is in charge of what we watched today. Virgin High, 1990, is a story about Christy being sent away to a Catholic high school, and her boyfriend is spearheading an escape plan for her. This stars Burt Ward and a bevy of beauties including Linnea Quigley.
