Garden & Gravel

Day 3 of my artist in residence at Pammel State Park found me hiking along Lodge Trail, where I encountered abundant wildlife, wildflowers and one of my favorite feathered friends.

At the beginning of 2024 I started planning a new photography project, Iowas99. One of the first parks I visited to kick things off, was Pammel State Park in Madison County. This episode is an introduction to the who and why of that decision.

I have stacks of notebooks and planners and I'm blessed with the opportunity to do what I love. Still, I struggle daily with motivation and actually getting things done. Listen in as I talk myself through the reason why I am not a planner and what actually works for me and why I believe it's important that we learn to do it our way.

I needed some time to decide what I was going to do with this little podcast of mine. This episode is an update on what's been going on and a little bit about where I'm heading. Oh...and I'm the changing the name.
