The Catholic and Protestant doctrine of God being a "three in one" God and each component, the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, each being a "one in three" is completely false and pagan. The Bible proves the 'trinity' to be a false concept. The only reason this pagan doctrine exists despite the Bible and logic is that it makes God very mysterious. And both strands of mainstream christianity - catholic and protestant - depend upon, and insist, God being very mysterious, unfathomable, beyond understanding to the common man. Absolutely false. But Jesus Christ did say no man could come to Him, unless the Father draws him/her to Christ. (John 6:65)
In this sermon Garner Ted Armstrong wades through the scriptures and also applies a very large dose of common sense, and not a little bit of humour, to expound exactly what the Holy Spirit is, and what the Holy Spirit is not.
