Why is it that we have such a hard time believing that God loves us? We always have to attach some condition to it. What we find in that very first Christmas is that we are so loved! John 3:16 is the message that settles everything. God loves me. God still loves me. God loves me in spite of me. God never stopped loving me. God will not stop loving me. God loves me period!

God’s message in the very first Christmas is that we might understand our purpose. It’s way more than a holiday. Christmas changes everything!

All of us grew up with a broken family picture. There are no perfect family pictures in the Bible. God doesn’t use perfect pictures, He uses broken people. God calls us to evaluate our family of origin and ask for His help in changing us so that we can have a different family. God calls us to invest in our families and leave a legacy of faith.
