There are all kinds of reasons for the purpose of our parenting. The Bible gives us a divine plan for how we invest in our kids well. The purpose of our parenting is to teach and train our children to love God, love others and leave home. Our objective is not to raise great kids; its to raise great adults.

All of us grew up with a broken family picture. There are no perfect family pictures in the Bible. God doesn’t use perfect pictures, He uses broken people. God calls us to evaluate our family of origin and ask for His help in changing us so that we can have a different family. God calls us to invest in our families and leave a legacy of faith.

We live in a world that struggles to have hope. We learn that hope is found in a blood-stained cross and an empty tomb. It give us a reason to live, hope beyond this life and communicates what we’re worth. You matter to God!

When the courageous life of Jesus collides with our lives—we become contagious. Mark 2 speaks about the story of 4 guys who brought their friends to Jesus. God calls us to share God’s story of redemption with others.

The mission of the church is to help others know the love of God through the life of Jesus. Dangerous churches are made up of dangerous people, willing to take dangerous risks, to save people from a dangerous destiny—Gene Apple.
