Our heart is to open new doors, so more people in more places can become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We want to see more families redeemed, more communities restored and more nations transformed. As we give, we will keep supporting our Beyond workers, care centres, op shops, counselling centres, Neighbours ministry and developing our campuses.

This week we looked into Romans 10 and what it means to have beautiful feet. As a church, we are stepping out into our world and opening doors so that people can encounter Jesus in a whole bunch of ways.

We see the obedience of the church in Rome and the radical way in which they loved each other and the city around them ultimately proclaimed the good news of Jesus that won the world over. May we too be faithful followers who see our city, nation and nations of the world come to also hear and believe Jesus.

We are radically loved. The cross has visibly and permanently revealed the love of God for us. It is a love that is so powerful that it will never be removed or overcome. As Paul exclaims, it is a love so strong that we will never be separated from God. That must give us great comfort and assurance. It also gives us the strength and resource to go and be love to the world around us. We have received the good news – now we must go and live the good news!

No matter how hard we try or how good we may be, we cannot save ourselves. All have sinned BUT all are justified freely through the gift of Jesus’ atoning death. Jesus, God in human form, the perfect sacrifice, gave himself for every person in order that our guilt may be accounted for. The righteous for the unrighteous. Jesus became what we are in order that we could become what he is. And in doing so, Jesus has fulfilled the law for us.
