So many issues in life trigger inward identity conversations. Knowing our identity and value and belovedness deeply in our gut is critical to living out the beautiful gospel love envisioned in Colossians 3:12.

Sometimes we feel like things are getting worse and worse and always will. That's actually not the case. Some generations do better than others. But each generation poses challenges to God's servants.

Jesus made numerous references to "this generation," which are insightful for us as well...

It's important for us to stick close to Jesus each and every day so that people can see Jesus in us, not just hear us talk about him while misrepresenting Him with our lives.

Often Jesus chooses specific people for specific tasks instead of others.

It's also important to learn how to make decisions the way he did, led by God's voice more than by our worry over what people we love may feel.
