Gateway Mackenzie Campus 5PM

What happens when we encounter Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God? In this message from John 6:1-21, in the face of our fear, we find Jesus bring us comfort and hope with His presence. For the disciples, everything changed the moment they encountered Jesus in the storm. Today, we too are invited to find life and life abundant in the Presence of Jesus, no matter the storm.

What are you seeking to fill yourself with? In this message from John 6, Lauren Lucas explores Jesus' declaration, 'I AM the Bread of Life', and what it means to be satisfied in Jesus. Helpfully unpacking three reasons we may not feel full, Lauren invites us to come to Jesus to find all that we need. Jesus alone can fill and satisfy the spiritual hunger we all carry.

In this message, Jess Hood explores Jesus’ revelation in John 8:12: “I am the light of the world.” Set against the backdrop of the Festival of Tabernacles, this message unpacks how Jesus is not simply pointing to the light or reflecting the light, but revealing Himself as God as He calls us to follow Him.

This message by Jason Elsmore unpacks the beauty and scandal of the incarnation - that the eternal Son of God stepped into our broken world so that we could experience adoption into God’s family, a personal relationship with Him, and eternal life that begins now. Join us as we explore the Book of John together in 2026

Vision Sunday 2026 calls our Gateway family to do what matters again - to pray, to plant, to prioritise people, and to share Jesus. Jason and Susan Elsmore share vision for the year ahead, including 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, future campus planting, and a renewed focus on life groups, serving, and welcoming others, while celebrating God’s work through Gateway Beyond and Emily’s powerful testimony of coming to faith. Lauren Lucas then challenges us from Scripture to pray without distractions.

Inviting us to walk in victory, James explores the topic of spiritual warfare as experienced by the early church.

James explains that Satan's goal is to disconnect you from good things in your life and teaches how we can remain connected to Jesus during enemy attack.

Exploring themes of worship and nations in Psalm 96, Elena Ciobo celebrates the diversity of many different cultures and people groups and God's compassion for them. In this message Elena challenges us to reveal God's glory to a people group He has placed in your heart and see what He does in your heart as a result.

As we step into 2026, we all face the same choice: will we be distracted by worry, or will we dwell in the presence of God? In Psalm 84, the sons of Korah declare that one day in God’s presence is better than a thousand elsewhere. In this message, Jason Elsmore reminds us that we can enjoy God’s presence anywhere, anytime - but we live in a deeply distracted culture.
