Hour 2:  Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul abruptly left the wake of slain hero New York Police Department officer Jonathan Diller Friday after she was confronted by a mourner and the officer’s widow. State Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Friday he is sending hundreds of high-tech surveillance cameras to be installed across the city and surrounding freeways to battle rising crime. U.S. Senator Laphonza Butler boasted that she had “secured wins for California,” and cited as one of her achievements $1.3 billion for the federal fund to help crime victims.
