In this week’s sermon we look for the hidden activity of God in the birth of Moses and consider the implications of God’s sometimes hidden activity in our own lives.

This week, the first of a new series in Exodus, Marc explores the importance of telling the stories of faith to maintain our trust in the big promises of God in the face of delay, brokenness, famine, and hardship.

Special guest Brandon Chaplin (Senior Pastor at Blackwood Hills Baptist in Adelaide) encourages us to place our trust in God and not get hung up on the future as he looks at Jesus’s words about worry in Matthew 6:25-34.

Looking back at our own journey of faith we can often see God’s fingerprints on our lives long before we placed our faith in him. In this sermon, Marc looks at the story of Naaman (2 Kings 5) as an example of just this truth and challenges us to commit to pray for those in our lives who are journeying towards faith and to be alert for where God might be inviting us to join in.

Marc outlines five areas where we can look for God’s activity in our individual lives and in our world including answered prayers, “coincidences”, experiences of God, invitations to join in his wider work, and changes in our lives or in the lives of others.
