Square One present the second production in their 40th year celebrations, Pygmalion, directed by Madeline Stringer, in the Mermaid Theatre Bray from Tuesday 8th November to Saturday 12th November inclusive. George Bernard Shaw wrote his best-known play Pygmalion in 1916, but its characters are modern and real people. Shaw, a feminist before the word was invented, had a wonderful sense of humour and this play races along, full of jokes, petty snobbery, and put downs that would not be out of place in many modern dramas. Tickets can be bought at the Mermaid Theatre box office or on-line through their web site.
